Thank you to everyone who has been responding to our monthly newsletter. Many of you have taken advantage of our irrigation system analysis. Our new irrigation experts, Dennis and Andrew Yamashiro have been busy checking, repairing and modifying your sprinkler systems.

Thank you very much for your referrals.  As always, a referral is the highest compliment we can receive. These referrals are now referring us to other friends, neighbors and associates.

We have received a handful of nominations for our work teams’ “extraordinary service” raffle drawing. If your crew has performed any services that you feel have been above and beyond, please let us know so that we can recognize them at our weekly safety meeting.

Our new website is up, but the detail pages are currently under construction. When you have a chance, please take a look at www.groundworksvip.com.  Please let us know what you think.

With the end of summer upon us, the fall brings another opportunity to freshen up your garden with new plants and winter color flowers. Fall is also the best time to trim most trees and perform lawn core aeration and rye grass over-seeding of winter dormant turf. Landscape lighting is a nice way to enjoy your garden in the evening. Improved LED technology uses a fifth of the energy of a standard halogen bulb and the tested lamp life expectancy is more than twenty times as long. A high quality LED fixture must be made with brass because the driver builds up a lot of heat. Brass helps dissipates this heat. Please call if you would like additional information.

Since July of 2009, I have been involved with the Riviera Village Leads Club, a group of knowledgeable professional business persons with decades of experience.  Please visit our website to see if any of these professionals can be of assistance to you, your family, friends or colleagues.  The website address is www.rivieraleads.com.

Until next month, we will be “continuing the Japanese-American tradition”.
