November 2010 Newsletter

November 19, 2010

Dear Friends,

It is the holiday season once again and on behalf of our team, I would like to extend a heartfelt Thank You for allowing us to service your landscape, tree care, irrigation and lighting needs for your properties! I am truly grateful for the relationships that we have built.  Despite the economic difficulties that many of us are facing, I hope that we will persevere and be blessed with relationships new and old for the upcoming decade.

As my late father, Tameharu Nagao, told me that in order to be successful in life, you must take care of family and friends, service clients and give back to the community.  I am proud that our team has once again helped me with the giving back to the community part. Our motto is “Continuing the Japanese American Tradition”.  We have been keeping the Japanese Garden on the campus of Cal State University Dominguez Hills beautiful, once again, with the Pacific Coast Chapter of the C.L.C.A. We have helped the Venice Japanese Community Center by pruning their Japanese styled ‘Niwaki’ pine and juniper trees. Our new custom landscape division manager has taken the helm of our latest project, along with the four Rotary clubs of Torrance, for the Providence Trinity Hospice Transitional Care facility in Torrance. We are in the midst of installing a concrete patio, waterfall and interior courtyard for the many temporary guests of the hospice.  Way to go Gworks Team!

Most of our business has been built on referrals from our loyal clients - like you!

Certified Arborist, Martin van Zeyl, says that we are now in the window of opportunity to prune trees of the Pine, Eucalyptus and Cedar families. This window is open until early March while the night time temperatures remain below the mid fifty degree threshold.

I wish you and yours a very Happy Thanksgiving!

With gratitude, “Do mo arigato gozai masu”
